Suomu - Ski Resort
Suomu is a small ski resort in the South of Lapland. The resort is a unique place because the hill of Suomu is located directly on the Northern Polar Circle. Slopes of Suomu are suitable for tourists of different levels: the northern slope is dedicated for experienced athletes, a snow park is also avaliable there; the southern and eastern slopes are best for beginners and inexperienced skiers. For children there is a fenced children's slope at the resort. In total there are 13 slopes, the longest one is 1300 m.
Suomu also offers a variety of for winter activities: deer and husky safaris, snowmobile rentals, winter fishing and etc. The length of the trails for cross-country skiing is 70 km.
