Tahko
The ski resort of Tahko is one of the best and most popular resorts in central Finland.
Tahko is a large resort, approaching the famous ski resorts of Lapland by the amount of facilities and activities avaliable. The resort has 23 slopes, 11 slopes wiht lighting, 22 slopes have an artificial snow system. Tourists can use 14 lifts that will take them to any part of the resort. Tahko has a wide variety of slopes for tourists with different levels of experience. There are slopes for beginners - wide and gentle, some over 1200 meters long, and steep slopes for professionals, plus a snow park as well.

How to get to Tahko
The resort of Tahko can be reached by plane, heading to the airport of Kuopio, which is 50 km away from the resort. You can get to Tahko by taxi, rented car or by bus. The nearest bus station is Nilsiä, from there in the winter season there is a free bus connection to the resort.
The Siilinjärvi train station is 40 km away from the resort. Read the schedule of buses carefully and plan your route in advance.
