Accessibility Statement

This accessibility statement covers the website https://www.lomarengas.fi and was published on June 23, 2025. It explains how we comply with the EU’s Digital Services Act and WCAG 2.1 AA standards, details any accessibility shortcomings, and informs how to provide feedback.

Evaluation Method

An external expert organization evaluated the site’s accessibility using automated testing tools.

Compliance Status

We designed Lomarengas.fi to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. However, the following issues remain:

1. Images (WCAG 1.1.1 Non-text Content. Some example or promotional images lack alt text or the provided descriptions are not meaningful.
2. Color Contrast (WCAG 1.4.3 Minimum Contrast). Certain buttons and text elements may not have sufficient contrast for assistive tool users.
3. Forms and Input Fields (WCAG 3.3.2 Labels or Instructions, 1.3.1 Info & Relationships). Some input fields are missing explicit <label> elements or lack a logical tab order.
4. Keyboard Accessibility (WCAG 2.4.7 Focus Visible). A few navigation menus do not work smoothly without a mouse.
5. PDF Documents. PDF files published after June 28, 2025 are under correction. Older files may not be accessible to screen readers.
