Kilpisjärvi (sale, gas station, restaurats, Kilpisjärvi Visitor Centre) 24 km, Enontekiö airport 135 km.

West from the cabin, over fishy Könkämäeno River, begin the fells of Sweden and in the North the mighty fells of Norway are visible. In the Käsivarsi Wilderness Area there are good possibilities for outdoor activities all year round and at wintertime a snowmobile track called Victoria’s route runs nearby the cabin. Könkämäemo River, only 50 m from the cabin, is well-known for its trout and grayling. The terrain around Pousuniva is part of the reindeer management area so you can see the reindeer even on the yard of the cabin.

Pousuniva is suitable for holiday-makers and it is an excellent base for adventurers and families who are interested in surrounding nature.
