Cabin in a great location at the tip of the foreland near Hämeenlinna city center. Käpymättärä is located by a fishy lake Vanajavesi. The fishy lake and private peace with spacious indoor and outdoor spaces make this destination brilliant for families and other holidaymakers. Parties are not allowed at the destination. 9 km to the north from Hämeenlinna, lake Vanajavesi 20 m, rowing boat freely available. Wooden cabin (2018), living room/kitchen, separate WC, bedroom 1 with double bed, bedroom 2 with 2 double bed, spreadable sofa bed for 1-2 and wide sofa (bed for one) in the living room. Electric sauna and shower with WC are located in the same building. Covered terrace with gas grill and furnishing in front of the cabin. Two campfire sites in the yard. The air source heat pump keeps the cottage cool in the summer. The Christmas reservation includes Christmas decorations (Christmas tree, table cloths, etc. and if agreed separately, a professional Santa Claus). The church next door (300 m) has a program during Christmastime.

Rental cabin on the over 2000 m2 plot. The plot is mainly flat and lawn. Plenty of space for different hobbies and games. Well-equipped rental cabin, high-quality equipment and furniture with comfortable facilities make a successful holiday in Käpymättärä cabin. Thanks to the flowing water of the lake Vanajavesi, there are also good opportunities for winter swimming. The water does not freeze easily and the possibility for swimming remains almost all year round. Hämeenlinna has a Vanajasali concert hall with several concerts and gigs for culture lovers. In addition, a festival called Vanajafestivaalit is organized in the area annually. 5 different types of golf courses within 20 km distance (Hattula, Aulanko, Vanajanlinna, Tavastila, Lepaagolf). Sappee ski resort 53 km. Lake Vanajavesi (Vanajanselkä) has excellent fishing water, several fishing competitions and events throughout the summer. There are fish species like perch, pike perch, pike, bream and eel.
