Cabin by the wilderness lake Vaikkojärvi and its surroundings offer an opportunity for relaxation and immersion in nature. 105 km to the north from Joensuu, Lake Vaikkojärvi (7.19 km²) 15 m, private beach, shallow sanded bottom, own boat. Round log cabin built in 2001. Living room with sofa bed, kitchen, alcove with 2 beds (curtain at the doorway), and separate area with 2 beds isolated by a screen from the kitchen. Glazed terrace. The kitchen has a sink, and water is pumped from the lake. Drinking water can be taken by the guest from a spring about 200 m away or brought along. The lake water has been tested potable in 2020. The yard sauna (18 m²) is equipped with a wood-burning sauna stove, and water is pumped from the lake. There's a sofa bed in the fireplace room of the sauna building. The sauna building also has a glazed terrace. A smoker is available for use. The cabin is a wilderness cabin and is not preheated before the reservation starts.

The stay in the cottage was very successful. The area is beautiful and quiet. The lake is full of fish. The cottage is very well equipped. The lack of internet tightens social relations.
