The cabin is located on the shore of Kuohattijärvi, a fish-rich lake (distance 20 m), with a shallow sandy beach, and the beach opens to the southwest, providing a sheltered and warm place to enjoy the magnificent scenery. Surrounded by good hunting and berry picking areas. Suitable for families with children and, for example, for camp school activities. The cabin has one small room, a kitchen and a large living room. The living room has 8 bunk beds. Wood heating, a storage fireplace. The cabin has solar-powered lighting, a small gas-powered refrigerator and a gas-powered stove. Outdoor toilet. The water for washing the lakeside sauna is taken from the lake with a hand pump or by carrying it. The water is from our own well. The well water is not tested, so we recommend bringing drinking water with you. Campfire site, smoking equipment. 1 x rowing boat, two canoes and life jackets.

WILDERNESS CAMPING: abins are best suited as a base for fishing, hiking or hunting trips. The equipment and standard of rural cabins are often less than other holiday cottages. The property is not preheated before the start of the reservation. The customer is responsible for cleaning the cabin during and after the holiday. Due to the long distances, maintenance does not check the cabin after every customer. If the property is not cleaned when you arrive or there are deficiencies, please contact the property manager immediately by calling. The customer must bring their own sheets and towels (not available for rent). The lake is stocked with perch, pike, whitefish and zander. Note: >18-year-olds and <65-year-olds must have a state fishing license for lure and net fishing. Worm fishing and ice fishing are free. For other types of fishing, a local permit is required in addition to a fishing license (sold at Kesport Konesola, Kirkkokatu 16 A, Nurmes and ABC Nurmes, Välitie 2-4, Nurmes). Small game area: 7624 Peurajärvi-Mujejärvi (www.eraluvat.fi). The cottage yard can be reached by car. Available for rent from the May to November. Nurmes 30 km, Bomba 30 km (including restaurant, spa, program services, summer market and summer theater), Hyvärilä Youth and Tourist Center 31 km (including restaurant, Pielis-Golf, sports and multi-purpose hall PielisAreena), Hiidenportti National Park approx. 60 km.
