Peace and lakeside living — a lakeside holiday cabin on peaceful Lake Valkiaisjärvi! Built in 2010, this cabin offers a comfortable setting for a relaxing getaway, just about 52 km east of Oulu. The services of Ylikiiminki center are 16 km away — an easy 15-minute drive.

The main building (71 m²) is located about 30 meters from its own sandy-bottom beach, where you’ll find a pier (water depth reaches chest level at the end, so children should be supervised), a rowing boat, a campfire site, and outdoor furniture for enjoying the lakeside atmosphere. Indoors, there is a living room with an open-plan kitchen, utility room, bathroom with a separate WC, and a sauna with both wood-burning and electric sauna stoves. Heating is provided by geothermal energy and an air source heat pump, with a traditional baking oven adding a cozy atmosphere.

The bedroom has a 160 cm wide double bed, while the living room includes a bed with a high-quality 90 cm mattress and a sofa bed that opens to a width of 140 cm.

Additional space is provided by a 15 m² sauna cabin, featuring benches renovated in 2020, one 80 cm bed, a pull-out box bed/sofa (about 140 cm wide when opened), and a small kitchen. The covered terrace has a dining set and gas grill for outdoor cooking and dining.

The spacious yard is sheltered by plantings and trees, and offers plenty to do for children: a playhouse, a treehouse, and open space for running and playing.
