Located 68 km east of Savonlinna, this charming log cabin by Lake Pyhäjärvi in Parikkala offers the perfect getaway in the tranquility of Finnish nature. The lake has clear water and a firm sandy bottom, and from your private pier you can easily swim, row, or go fishing. A rowing boat with a 20 hp outboard motor, Wi-Fi, and professional-level cooking facilities are included. Fresh drinking water comes directly from your own private well to all buildings. An ideal destination for relaxation, fishing, or remote work in the peace of Eastern Finland.

The main cabin is a log-built holiday home from 1974. The cozy living room features a dining table for six, a sofa that converts into a double bed, and a sleeping alcove with a 120 cm wide bed. The kitchenette is equipped with an electric stove and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, and coffee and water kettles.

An air conditioning unit keeps the cabin comfortably cool even during the hottest summer days (approx. 20°C) and can easily be moved to the sauna cottage if needed.

A large, partially covered terrace with lake view includes a round dining table for ten. The table moves easily on wheels, and even during rain, six people can dine under the roof. Next to the terrace, there is also a long wooden table for eight people.

The separate lakeside log sauna is located only 15 meters from the water, accessible via a paved path. The sauna has a wood-burning stove, and hot water is heated traditionally in a cauldron. There are battery-powered showers with fixed shower rails, and a fridge-freezer for cool drinks. On the open sauna terrace, a table for six invites you to relax between steam sessions.

The sauna’s small bed room includes a double bed (160 cm), storage space, and a height-adjustable desk for remote work or movie nights, equipped with a 27’’ monitor (HDMI and USB-C connections).

There are multiple cooking options on the property: A summer kitchen/grill shelter (built in 2020) next to the main cabin, equipped with a large charcoal grill/smoker, gas stove, vacuum sealer, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, coffee and water kettles, and high-quality knives. The main cabin’s kitchenette includes an electric stove and oven. Also a campfire site and open-fire grill area by the lake – perfect for example for preparing several fish fillets at once,.

The property features two full-size fridge-freezers and one smaller fridge with freezer compartment, as well as plenty of plates, cutlery, and glassware for larger groups to stay comfortably for several days before needing to run the dishwasher.
