125 km to the southeast from Rovaniemi, 43 km to the east from Ranua municipality center, lake Latva-Penämö 25 m (length 1,2 km, width 0,6 km), shallow and nice sand beach within 60 m distance. Lake-side gable apartment in a wooden row house. There are three apartments in total in the house. Living area with 2 single beds and bunk bed, sleeping room with 2 single beds and bunk bed, another bedroom with 2 beds, kitchen and WC (bidet shower in WC). Sauna, washroom and dressing room are located at the other end of the house, sauna facilities are shared with other apartments, heating of the sauna will be carried out by the owner in the evenings.

The apartment is located in a small wilderness-like tourist center. There is a café in the destination. Breakfasts and other meals are available on a request. SimWay Hunt hunting simulator available for an additional fee. The Latva-Penämö three-room apartment is located in the middle of many possibilities. Ranua Simojärvi 10 km, Ranua Animal Park 45 km, Korouoma gorge Valley in Posio 25 km. Ranua – Posio snowmobile trail runs nearby (about 1 km). Magnificent base for berry pickers, well-known cloudberry mires are easily accessible. The opportunity to get to know the reindeer herding. Hunting: Small game hunting area on the state owned lands, see destination 2619 Ranua (www.eraluvat.fi). Fishing: Fishing in the lakes is usually permitted with the fisheries management fee.
