Small kelo log-built cabin in its own peace by wilderness lake. No road to destination, 300 m walking distance along the path. Hunting possibility on owner and state owned lands. 62 km to the southeast from Rovaniemi, 54 km to the north from Ranua, lake Järvi-Naskuttaja 25 m (length 800 m, width 200 m), deep and rocky beach and the surrounding area, small pier, campfire site and rowing boat. Kelo log cabin, built in 1980. 2 spreadable beds in the living area. Small covered terrace. Wood stove for heating and 1 burner gas stove. Customer brings drinking water. For cold storage, a 60 l tank immersed in the swamp, distance from the cabin about 70 m. Lakeside sauna with steam room and small terrace. Water for the sauna can get from the lake by carrying, distance 10 m (hand operated pump shown in the picture is not in use). There is an outdoor cauldron for water heating in front of the sauna.

WILDERNESS CABIN: Wilderness cabins are suitable for fishing, trekking and hunting trips. Facilities in wilderness cabins are often more modest than in holiday cabins. The cabin is not preheated before customer’s arrival. The guest must bring their own bed linen and towels (not available for rent). The area is very peaceful, there is only one another cabin on the lake. It is located far away, on the other side of the lake. The cabin and surrounding area are ideal for customers seeking peace, fishermen, hunters and berry pickers. The cabin is surrounded by good terrains for berry picking, including mires full of cloudberries. Fishing: Fishing in lake Järvi-Naskuttaja and other lake and ponds is usually permitted with fisheries management fee. One fishing rod and one lure can be used. There is a good stock of perch, pike and whitefish in the lake. Hunting: Small game hunting opportunity on owner's land, total area is 79 ha (more information from the owner). Small game hunting area on state owned lands at its closest distance of about one kilometer, see destination 2615 Rovaniemi (www.eraluvat.fi). Destination 2619 Ranua is also easily accessible (www.eraluvat.fi). Auttiköngäs rapid 48 km, Ranua Zoo 50 km, Korouoma gorge valley 68 km, Arctic Circle 70 km. This cabin can be rented during June-October.
