Cottage's shore is not suitable for children, swimming shore 1.5 km away. It is 3 km to the illuminated skiing track of Vanttauskoski, track is 3,7 km back and forth. It is 1,5 km to the skiing track of Viirinkylä, length of the track 5 km. This track is open depending on the weather, usually from the middle of January or beginning of February until the middle of April.
Ranua Wildlife Park 83 km.
