The house was originally built in 1947, renovated and completely renewed in 2018.
Living room/kitchen with bunk bed and sofa, a drawer located underneath the bunk bed can be used as a bed for a child, bedroom with double bed, sauna, washroom, and separate WC.
The sauna in the house is modern. There is an old outdoor sauna located in a separate yard building. Due to wood-burning sauna stove, this sauna offers excellent hot steam bath. Heating of outdoor sauna takes some time, please reserve time for heating - it is not always possible. The heating of the outdoor sauna must be agreed separately with the owner.
Wide-ranging Mäntyvaara’s cross country ski trail network is within 2 kilometers, Ounasvaara ski resort is within 5 kilometers.
Well-maintained snowmobile routes can be accessed directly from the yard, please be careful when accessing the route network.
The owner can arrange transports from the airport, the bus station, or the railway station if needed (payment directly to the owner).
