This traditional and spacious 1947 built logging cabin is located on a beautiful spot by lake Saarivesi. The resort is suitable for outdoor-oriented people as well as for hunters and fishermen. Two big living rooms with sleeping places for 12 + 14 people (mattress, blanket and pillow in each bed), hall with two-person and a three-person bedroom, kitchen. Both living rooms have stoves for heating, cabinets for equipment and big traditional dining tables. Kitchen has wood stove, gas refrigerator, cupboards for dishes, kitchen sink and big traditional dining table. Dishes and cooking equipment for 32 people. Water form the lake, drinking water has to be brought along. Spacious outdoor sauna by lake, dock, rowing boat, place for campfire. Shed building with small sauna and bedroom. Beach is suitable for swimming. On the cabin yard: outdoor toilet, shed building, woodshed and waste recycling. The cabin is rented as a whole.

This cabin is not pre-heated before customer's arrival and window shutters are closed on arrival. Cabin requires outdoor attitude and skills (how to make fire, for example). If you’re not sure, please consider another option. Lake Saarivesi is a great destination for lure fishing. Common catches are perch and pike (www.eraluvat.fi/en license area No 5411 Pohjois-Pohjanmaa-Kainuu or fisheries management fee, also from eraluvat.fi/en, is needed). Rainbow trout can be caught by fly fishing on Ahvenlampi recreational fishing pond, ca. 8 km from the cabin. Both lure and troll fishing are permitted on Maasydänjärvi lake. License area 4570 Maasydänjärvi and Ahvenlampi (www.eraluvat.fi/en). Rainbow trout is planted in both fishing waters during the summer. Starting point of (6 km long) hiking trail nearby. Other hikers in the area can be seen. Outdoor attitude and skills are necessary (how to make fire, chop firewood etc). Cabin can be reached by car.

Rauhallinen ja luonnonkaunis paikka, missä hyvä uimaranta ja todella miellyttävälöylyinen sauna. Sähköttömyys ei haittaa sitä ken asennoituu oikein. Omat juomavedet on syytä tuoda mukana. Kylpy- ja tiskivedet saa järvestä. Kohteessa kaasujääkaappi, siisti, ulkohuussi, ja puulla lämpiävät tuvat. Tilaa riittää niin pihalla kuin sisälläkin. Suosittelen!
