Booking Fee 22 €Cabin in a beautiful location on top of a hill by a pond. Large terrace, also a lean-to shelter available. Pets welcome.
37 km to the south from Taivalkoski municipality center, pond Haukilampi 50 m, steep slope to the beach, shallow soft-bottomed beach which is sanded, pier.
Planed log cabin, built in 1996. In the living room/kitchen with spreadable sofa, double motorized bed in the bedroom, one bed and spreadable sofa bed on the upper floor, steep stairs to the upper floor, sauna (renovated in autumn 2024). Lobby and large, partially covered terrace.
There is a wood-burning sauna stove and cauldron for heating up water in the sauna. Water for the sauna can be pumped by a pump from the lake. There is no other water supply in the cabin. Please bring drinking water with you.
Outdoor toilet.
There is Internet and smart TV in the cabin, also another TV on the upper floor. Airfryer and smoker also available. Full-height refrigerator in the kitchen and a fridge with small freezer compartment in the dressing room.
The air-heat pump can also be used for cooling.
Karaoke equipment and a Bluetooth speaker can be rented from the owner for an additional fee in advance.
The hot tub on the cottage's terrace is not available to guests at all.
Taivalvaara ski resort 37 km, Kylmäluoma hiking area 57 km, Hossa National Park 65 km, Iso-Syöte and Syöte National Park 74 km, Ruka 129 km.
Fishing: Pond Haukilampi has perch, pike, whitefish and grayling. Fishing in lakes and ponds is usually permitted with fisheries management fee. One fishing rod can be used. More information see (www.eraluvat.fi).
5411 The Northern Ostrobothnia-Kainuu angling permit allows you to fish with a fly or a lure on state owned waters located in Northern Ostrobothnia and Kainuu (www.eraluvat.fi).
Korvua-Näljänkäjoki joint permit area is easily accessible, see destination 5574 (www.eraluvat.fi)
Fishing permits for the fishing water in the area can be bought from village shop (distance 7 km) as well.
Hunting: State owned small game hunting area is within about two kilometers, see destination 5622 Southern Taivalkoski (www.eraluvat.fi).
