65 km north of Heinola, lake Rautavesi 300 m, (length 10 km, width 800 m), shallow, hard clay bottom, own boat. Log hut, in the middle there is a barbecue grill, around 4 beds and seats and a kitchen area. Woodshed in the yard / outdoor toilet and barbecue place. Sauna with shower 3 km (additional fee). In the hut there isn't any washing possibility. (if you are unsure, please book some other cottage). Sauna (approx. 3 km away) can be booked for 35 eur when picking up the keys. Payment at the same time in cash. For the fee, sauna is in use for 3 hours. The sauna is private and can only be used by one group at a time. Movable hot tub for rent, delivery 3 km away to the sauna, (the lot is not delivered to the cottage), rental for several cottages, so availability should be checked in advance from the deliver (contact information will get in booking confirmation).

Please, notice that wilderness hut requires outdoor skills, for example how to make firewood and fire. This hut is more modest than holiday cabins usually are. Hut is heated with barbecue grill, which is located in the middle of hut. For cold storage of food, a thermo box + cold element. Hut is located on a high hill, with beautiful views of the rural landscape and the lake. Joutsa center 12 km. Owner rents canoes and gives basic guidance. The nearest boat landing place approx. 1 km away. Note! There is only "trip mattresses" in the log hut. Clients need to bring their own sleeping bags. By separate payment / arrangement blankets and pillows available. Set including bed linen and towels is 35 €/person. Car parking 400 m.

  Hieno kohde erätupa meininkiä haluvalle! Hyvä tehdä ruokaa keskellä olevalla nuotiolla. Kodan koko oli omasta mielestä isompi kuin mitä kuvista sai käsityksen. Soveltui myös hyvin 'teltta-tyyliseen' yöpymiseen (makuualustat/patjat toki mukaan). WC erittäin siisti ja muutenkin paikan päältä löytyi kaikki tarpeellinen.Isäntä erittäin ystävällinen myös!
