Wilderness cabin Pasmajärvi is a peaceful escape in the heart of nature! The cabin is located after a 2.5 km boat trip, mainly along the river Pasmajoki. You will use a rowing boat and a 4 hp outboard motor, but remember to bring fuel (4-stroke gasoline). When you get onsite, an atmospheric wilderness cabin will await you. The cabin has a room with a double bed and two upper beds. You can relax in a warm sauna and enjoy soft steam at the end of a long day. The sauna is equipped with a wooden sauna stove and a cauldron for heating the water. The water for the sauna is fetched from the lake. In addition, the cabin has a hall and a small porch. The gas refrigerator is placed on the porch. If you need electricity, you can take advantage of the services provided by the solar panel and generator. Solar light illuminates the room, and you can charge your USB devices. In autumn, lighting is most definitely with candles. In addition, the equipment includes an aggregate that runs on gasoline (4-stroke, the customer brings the fuel). The TV shown in the pictures only works with aggregate electricity. The cabin is heated by an open fireplace. If necessary, additional heat can be obtained from the sauna stove. There is a modest outdoor fireplace and cold storage in the yard. There is also a small gas grill and a smoking box. Outdoor toilet.

WILDERNESS CABIN is best suited as a base for a fishing, hiking, or hunting trip. Facilities in wilderness cabins are often more modest than in holiday cottages. The cabin is not preheated before the customer’s arrival. The cabin should be cleaned by the customer during the stay and after that. Due to long distances, maintenance doesn’t check the cabin after all customers. If the cabin is not cleaned or there are deficiencies, please contact the owner immediately upon arrival by calling. Please, remember to bring your own bed linen and towels (can not be rented). Water is not examined yearly, so boiling the drinking water before use is recommended. 25 m to the beach, the beach is shallow with a hard bottom from the shore, deeper the bottom is muddy. Lake Pasmajärvi is well-suited for fishing. There are perch, pike, and whitefish in the lake. A couple of the owner's kettles and a net are at your disposal. Other good fishing destinations in the nearby areas are e.g. Rivers Käkkälöjoki, Pöyrisjoki, and Ounasjoki. For fishing permits, see items 1556 and 1551 Enontekiö wilderness (www.eraluvat.fi). Hunting: The state-owned small game hunting area 1616 Nunnanen extends near the cabin in Pasmajärvi (www.eraluvat.fi). Reindeer meat shop and café in Peltovuoma approx. 5 km. Enontekiö center Hetta 30 km, Tunturi-Lapi nature center 30 km. The destination can be booked for the period 15.6. - 30.9.
