Accommodation information
Cozy holiday cabin, located south of Kilpisjärvi and on shore of lake Pousujärvi (5 m from the doorstep), built in 1957 and renovated in 2002. Dredged shore, not very good for swimming. Kitchen/living-room with single bed, two bedrooms: 2 separate beds. Rowing boat for own use by the Lake Pousujärvi and 3 rowing boats in shared use in other lakes, campfire place in the yard. Dog cage in the yard. As cabin is close to road, traffic noise can be heard. Note! Phone signal is weak in cabin. Please, notice that bed linen and final cleaning can not be rented for this cabin. Therefore client needs to bring his/her own sheets and towels and clean the cottage on the day of departure by following the cleaning instructions given in the booking terms.

Distances: Muonio-Kilpisjärvi bus stop 50 m, Kilpisjärvi (where e.g. store, gas station and restaurants) 26 km. Enontekiö airport 137 km, Skibotn (Norge) 80 km. Cabin is located in old lapp village, so reindeer may roame the yard year round. View from cabin to the mighty mountain fells of Finland, Sweden and Norway is spectacular. Great opportunities for observing the Northern Lights on the dark nights. During winter the Victoria – snowmobile route runs across the lake and therefore cabin is highly suitable also for snowmobilers. Könkämäeno is a fishing area well-known for its trout- and grayling catch, so cabin is truly a dream location for any fisherman. Fishing license area: 1551 Enontekiön erämaa (www.eraluvat.fi). Great pick-up areas for cloudberries. Cabin can be reached by car all year round. Please note! In winter steep driveway might be slippery (car can be parked 90m away from the cottage). Heating plugs for 2 cars. Please, inform the owner in advance if you are arriving by caravan (extra charge may apply). We don't accept dog sleds.

Kiva mökki kauniilla näköalalla, vaikka tie aivan vieressä, ei se meitä haitannut millään tavoin. Varustuskin oli aivan riittävä ja sauna pukuhuoneineen tilava, polttopuitakin tarpeeksi ja vieläpä kuivia. Onnistunut loma, kiitokset vielä isännnälle.

Rauhallinen mökki upeissa maisemissa revontulten loisteessa. Mökissä oli yksityisyyden ja oman rauhan tunnelma, johon läheisyydessä olevat tiet ja muut mökit toivat turvallisuutta. Rantasauna lämpeni päivittäin eikä erillistä suihkua edes kaivannut. Riittävä varustelu ja siistinä pidetty. Heikohkot nettiyhteydet mahdollistivat hyödyllistä somepaastoa.
