A large former logging camp located on the banks of the Liesijoki River, next to Seitseminen National Park, 56 km north of Tampere. The original cabin was built by Kalle Päätalo, but the main building burned down and was later replaced with a new one. The stable building constructed by Kalle Päätalo still remains. The house was fully renovated in 2021, and the riverside sauna was renovated in the spring of 2022. This spacious rental cabin has four bedrooms. The first bedroom includes two beds and a bunk bed for two, the second has five bunk beds accommodating 11 people, the third has two bunk beds for five people, and the fourth has two beds. The fireplace/TV room features one bunk bed for two and a corner sofa. The updated kitchen and large dining/living area can accommodate the entire group to eat together. There are two indoor WCs and two showers. By the river, there is a cozy wood-heated sauna. The sauna features a washing area with two showers, a fireplace room, and a large terrace extending over the river. There is a dock for swimming, but no boat is provided. The rocky, flowing riverbank is unsuitable for small children. Approximately 1.5 km away, there is a swimming area with a beautiful sandy beach and a lean-to, shared with three cabins at Alanen-Särkilampi pond. The property also includes the old stable building, Kallen Talli 17367. By renting this additional cabin, the two properties can accommodate up to 34 people. The landlord reserves the right to charge a 300 EUR security deposit, which will be refunded to the tenant's bank account after the rental period, provided the property is in good condition and all items are intact.

Seitseminen National Park 300 m (www.nationalparks.fi/seitseminen), Kovero Heritage Farm 4 km (open during summer), Seitseminen Visitor Centre 11 km, Teerilampi and Haukilampi fishing areas 10 km, Kuru 30 km, Parkano 32 km, Ikaalinen Golf 40 km, Ikaalinen Spa 53 km, Helvetinjärvi National Park 55 km, Tampere (airport) 75 km. Fishing permits are available for the Teerilampi area (permit area 6545) at www.eraluvat.fi. Fishing in Haukilampi requires a permit from Juhtimäki’s fishing association (inquire with the owner). Small game hunting permits for the Kuru (6645) and Parkano (6643) areas are available about 5 km away (www.eraluvat.fi). The cabin is popular among large groups, serving as a venue for school camps, birthdays, and family gatherings. The yard features a lean-to, a volleyball court, and covered table sets. Additional guests, tents, motorhomes, and caravans must be agreed upon with the owner in advance (extra fees apply). Extras available for rent from the owner: - Hot tub: 240 EUR per weekend (check prices for public holidays; bringing your own hot tub is prohibited). - Grill hut (30 m²): 150 EUR per weekend. - Army tent. - Bed linens and towels. A common village road goes through the cabin yard, but traffic is not heavy. The cabin can be reached by car during summer and winter. Heating plugs for 4 cars.

  Mukava mökki kivalla paikalla. Luonto lähellä ja riittävästi majoitus- ja oleskelutilaa myös ulkosalla. Ei luksusta mutta toimiva paketti ja asiallinen kokonaisuus.

  Kohteessa oli hieman sekavaa, mitä kuuluu käyttöön ja mitä ei. Siivousmaksu ja muut varioaatioit olisi hyvä olla sovittavissa selkeästi ennakkoon lomarenkaan sivuilla. Muutoin ryhmämme piti paikasta todella paljon.
