Käpylä is a modest rental cabin, located 55 km north of Tampere, that once accommodated forest reindeer herders. Käpylä is an old-fashioned cabin, where renowned Finnish author Kalle Päätalo stayed while constructing Jaulin Kämppä rental cabin. Käpylä is well-suited for families and smaller groups who do not require luxury or modern interiors on their vacation. The property is old and shows signs of wear, but it offers a nostalgic grandmother’s home atmosphere, perfect for those who appreciate rustic charm. Buildings in the idyllic historic courtyard: The main building (approx. 55 m²) features a combined kitchen-living area with a sofa bed, and a living room with two beds and additional sofa bed. Cold and hot water are available in the kitchen. The barn building includes a wood-heated sauna and a fireplace room with a sofa bed. The storage building contains two beds and even a small cat door in the entrance. The small guest cabin is equipped with electric heating. The courtyard also features a large log-built grill hut, a firewood shed, and an eco-toilet. Sleeping Capacity The main building accommodates 5–6 people, the guest cabin for 2 people, the fireplace room for 1–2 people, and the old storage building for 2 people. The spacious yard provides a safe environment for children to play. The cabin’s swimming beach and boat are 400 meters away at the Alanen-Särkilammi pond. There is also a lean-to shelter and a campfire site. The beach is shared with three other rental cabins. Available for rent/reservation directly from the owner: - Hot tub (240 EUR/weekend) – holiday pricing should be confirmed. Note: Bringing your own hot tub is prohibited. - Convenient diesel-heated hot tub (300 EUR/weekend) - Grill hut (30 m², 150 EUR/weekend) - Snowshoes - SUP boards

Fishing license area 6545 Teerilampi (www.eraluvat.fi). Lake Haukilampi requires a permit from Juhtimäki’s fishing association (inquire with the owner). Small game hunting areas 6645 Kuru and 6643 Parkano are located about 5 km distance (www.eraluvat.fi). Note! A village road runs through the cabin yard, no heavy traffic. For Midsummer reservations, a 200 EUR key deposit is required. The owner will invoice this in advance and refund it to the guest’s bank account after the rental period, provided the property is in good condition and all items remain intact.
