This traditional holiday cabin near Ivalo offers many attractive features and opportunities for a relaxing and diverse vacation. Here, you are conveniently close to restaurants, shops, and other services, allowing you to easily stock up on supplies or enjoy local food and culture. Two hot tubs (cold and warm) for the additional price provide an excellent opportunity to relax and enjoy being outdoors throughout the year. In summer you have access to kayak by the river. Wood-heated sauna with a smoky flavor is a traditional Finnish experience that you won't forget. You can heat up the sauna and enjoy gentle steam during your vacation. The sauna also has a portable shower. The cabin is situated on the bank of the Ivalo River. There is a steep slope and stairs leading to the beach. The beach is shallow with a hard bottom. Please note that the water level of the river and the strength of the current vary due to weather conditions. The cabin features a living area with a sofa bed. Two alcoves, one with a double bed (width 140 cm). The other alcove serves as a game/entertainment and remote workroom (electric desk, ergonomic chair, monitor, keyboard, mouse, multi-port, Wi-Fi 4G), with a futon sofa in the alcove. In addition to the alcoves, the cabin has a separate nook with a loft bed, width about 120 cm. The nook has no windows and has a door leading to the terrace. In the kitchenette, there are electric hotplate (2 plates), Airfryer (model oven), microwave oven and coffee maker. There is also a shower in the cottage's toilet/washroom. The rent includes 2 sacks of firewood, which is usually enough for 2 days. You can order more firewood in advance when making a booking (price is per sack) or on the spot by buying those from Ivalo.

Water for the sauna is obtained from a water post on the cabin's wall. Water for the hot tubs is taken from the river using a submersible pump; in winter, when the river is frozen, water is obtained from the water post. Note: emptying the hot tubs is the customer's responsibility. Pets are allowed for an additional fee (fee per booking). Saariselkä, a popular winter and summer tourist destination, is within reasonable distance. You can easily take a day trip to this beautiful fell area, go skiing, and hiking, or enjoy the many activities Saariselkä has to offer. Services of the center of Ivalo are 5-7 km away. Inari is 45 km away. 4,5 km to the airport of Ivalo.
