255 km north of Rovaniemi, in Saariselkä, in the area of Laanila. Log cottage, built in 2017. Living room with sofa bed, alcove with 2 beds. Sauna and bathroom/toilet, covered porch. Warm ski maintenances room (in shared use). Pets are allowed at extra fee, which is charged per pet. There is metal fireplace, which also has a bakery oven. Cottage kitchenette has no oven. High chair for a baby and cot available upon prior request from the owner of the use without charge. Bed linen/towels and final cleaning included in rent. IMPORTANT! On your stay kindly use bed sheets in beds, thank you. On departure remember to close windows and leave the heating on.

Mökki oli uudehko, ihan kiva sisustukseltaan, sopiva koiran kanssa matkaavalle jne mutta makuusopessa veti kovin hirsien välistä. Mitenhän kovilla pakkasilla? Takalla sai toki mökkiin lämpöä. Lisäksi pihapiiri täynnä muita mökkejä, näkymät tielle. Että sanotaanko näin että ihan ookoo mökki jos on koko ajan tunturissa ja käypi mökissä vain nukkumassa?

Mökki on pieni, siisti ja ympäristö on rauhallinen, kun ei olla aivan Saariselän ytimessä. Mökistä löytyy kaikki tarvittava mutta kaksi sähkölevyä ja uunin puuttuminen tuo haastetta ruoan laittoon. Syyskuussakin oli vielä niin lämpimät kelit, ettei takan yhteydessä olevaa haudutusuunia voinut käyttää.
