The apartment is located in the Suomutunturi ski and tourist center, in the Arctic Circle. In the cottage's backyard, there is a lean-to with the possibility of campfire. Kemijärvi has good fishing and swimming opportunities, distance 5 km. The nearest shop is in Joutsijärvi, distance 15 km. Joutsijärvi also has the closest attraction - the Salpalinja bunker. Suomutunturi has 70 km of slopes, 17 km of which are illuminated, with a distance of 100 m. It is 1.3 km from the cabin to the slopes and Hotel Suomutunturi. Five skiing centers within a radius of less than 100 km. Two national parks within driving distance: Pyhä-Luosto (80 km) and Salla (60 km). Pets are welcome on holiday. Pet fee 30€.

  The cottage and location are wonderful. The slope is 5 minutes by car. There are 2 more slopes within an hour's drive in Ruka and Salla. The supermarket is quite far away in Kemijärvi, in 40 minutes. The cottage itself is very cozy, clean. The owner is always in touch. The only negative is the lack of wi fi. Otherwise everything went fine!
