Accommodation information
75 km south of Joensuu, separate log cottage, built 1988. On the shore of Pyhäjärvi, with a shallow sandy beach suitable for children, a long dock, beach to the south. In the cottage, a kitchenette with a sleeping sofa for 1-2 persons, and a 120 cm bed in the sleeping alcove. Sauna, changing room and indoor toilet in the same building, access through the outdoor veranda. The cabin is electrified and the water for use comes via a water pipe from a welle (filter, water is of good quality for drinking). A spare fireplace and air heat pump in the cabin. An old nostalgic log sleeping shed with beds for 2 people and a new sleeping shed completed in 2014 with a 160 cm bonnel mattress. In the courtyard, there is a fire place and a swing. Garden furniture on the veranda.

The cozy electrified cottage is located on a quiet promontory in a coastal protection area, on the edge of the Natura area. The distance to the neighbor is 150 m and the cottages do not have a line of sight to each other. Swans and Canada geese nest in the water area. Good fishing waters. The holiday resort Pajarinhovi and Vesipuisto are 6 km from the cottage. Kiosk / bakery 3.5 km (fresh bread and pastries, as well as a small selection of kiosks + daily soup lunch). Bookings start at 16:00 and end at 12:00 on the day of departure (including weekend bookings).

Kaikki OK, mitä kohde-esittelyssä mainittu. Hyviä merkittyjä luontoretkeily maastoja läheisyydessä. Itse kävin maastopyöräilemässä siihen sopivilla poluilla arv. 4/5. Porakaivovesi lisätty tupakeittiön hanan viereen, jonka kerrottiin olevan juomakelpoista.

Erinomainen mökki luonnon ihailijalle. Harvan mökin laiturilta on näin luonnonmukainen maisema eli ei yhtään toista mökkiä näkyvissä. Keittiötiloista kaipailtiin ruokatarvikkeille säilytystilaa ja pöytätilaa. Lyhyt etäisyys valtavan kauniille Puhokselle tai suloisen hellyttävään Kiteen paikallismuseoon, jossa kivikirves ja kuparitaaleri lepäävät vierekkäin.
