In Tahkolanranta, by Takalontie road on the northern side of Lake Rukajärvi with fell and lake views. Own toilets and showers in two bedrooms downstairs, toilet and shower upstairs, five showers altogether. Tumble dryer, water kettle, two fireplaces, balcony. Also upstairs: TV, VCR, stereos and fridge. Internet connection (Wifi). Blackout curtains in bedrooms. Not an allergy-free property. Iittala tableware. Grill hut is an atmospheric grilling and smoking barn shared with another cottage. Please note that bringing a hot tub is not allowed during the winter and at other times only if the matter and the additional fee have been agreed in advance with the owner. The bringing and use of snowmobiles must be agreed in advance with the owner, as there is no driving route from the cottage to the official routes on its own land. There is a surveillance camera along the cottage road that is only on when there are no customers at the cottages. Other distances: Oulanka National Park / Pieni Karhunkierros Trail 28 km, short trails in the Central Ruka area 6 km.

The cottage has great location not far from the town of Ruka. It is functional and very suitable for larger groups and families. Has very spacious living room with dining area and table for 10 people. Great contact with the property manager - she responds quickly to emails and is very helpful. Highly recommended.
