Wilderness cabin suiteble for hunters, hikers, berry and mushroom pickers. Cabin is located by lake Palkinjärvi (30 m, the beach is rocky). Combined kitchen/living room with two beds, sleeping alcove with bunk bed. Drinking water available at Loma-Kitsi. Sauna in same building; wood-heated stove/dressing room. Site for an open fire, wood shed, rowing boat.

WILDERNESS CABIN: Facilities in wilderness cabins are often more modest than in holiday cottages. Cabin is not preheated before customer’s arrival. Cabin should be cleaned by the customer during the holiday and after that. If the cabin is not cleaned or there are deficiencies, please contact the caretaker immediately on arrival by calling. Please, remember to bring your own bed linen and towels (can not be rented). This cabin requires outdoor attitude and skills (how to make fire, for example). If you’re not sure, please consider another option. Water is not examined yearly so boiling the drinking water before use is recommended. Cabin is near by the State’s large hunting ground Elimo-Kitsi-Piilo (no. 7638). The area covers almost 58 000 hectares and there lives for example black grouse, hares, beavers and ducks. Distance to National Park Patvinsuo 23 km, Lieksa 45 km, Uimaharju 55 km, Hatunkylä 15 km. Café-, restaurant- and taxi services -available from the owner (advance order). Cabin can be reached by car.
