Onnin Tupa is a cabin next to the Sinivuori nature park. The cabin is in a very quiet location and is the only cabin on the shore of the small Vuorijärvi lake. The cottage has been renovated to a high standard in 2024. The cottage has an atmospheric smoke sauna heated by the owner, which can be rented separately. 60 km east of Tampere, Lake Vuorijärvi 100 m, with dark and humus-rich water, a rapidly deepening bottom, its own dock and rowing boat. Log-framed, wood-clad cottage (1837), two spacious rooms and kitchen. In the second room, a sofa bed for two (160 x 190 cm) and two beds (80 x 200 cm), a fireplace and a dining set for four. The second room has a long bar table with benches, two beds (80 x 190 cm). In the kitchen, a dining set for four, two-part gas stove (no oven), electric coffee maker, refrigerator. There is also a small wood stove in the kitchen that can be used for cooking and heating the cabin. The courtyard building has a shed (no heating option) with one bed that is not counted as an actual bed but is an alternative bed. In the courtyard building there is also an outdoor hall and a shed room, where old household items have been collected for viewing. In the yard, garden furniture, a campfire canopy and a smoke sauna that can be rented separately. There is a new lakeside sauna built from sturdy logs on the beach with a wood-burning stove. Water for the sauna is brought from Vuorijärvi and heated by the sauna stove. The cabin's name Onnin Tupa comes from the name Onni of the previous recluse owner. There is a small life story of Onni's life illustrated with photos in the cabin's closet. RENTER BRINGING DRINKING WATER HIMSELF TO THE COTTAGE. Well water can be used as washing water. The cabin has lighting with electricity produced by solar panels. Two large batteries make it possible to use the refrigerator and coffee maker in the cabin. The cabin has an inverter, so the phone can be charged with a standard charger. It takes a day to heat up the smoke sauna, which can be rented separately. The rental is ordered directly from the owner and paid directly to him. One-time sauna heating €400. Contact information for renting is in the Lomarengas cabin folder located in the cabin. The Sinivuori nature park is located next door, but it is intended for research use. It is not advisable to walk in the Sinivuori nature park. The cottage is not rented for parties.

The plot is wooded, flat and the trees have been thinned so that the sun can shine on the plot all day. The cabin has the spirit of a wilderness cabin. The Sinivuori nature park is located near, but it is only intended for research use. It is not advisable to walk in the Sinivuori nature park. There is a 1 km long walking trail from the Onnin Tupa cabin to Pajojärvi camp, where you can go hiking. The cabin is a two-person log cabin with a beach sauna and an outdoor campfire. Vuorijärvi is a private lake where fishing is allowed with a worm line or a snare. Fishing is allowed for the renter without a fishing permit. Dark perch and pike are available in the lake. The area also has good mushroom and berry terrain.

  Meillä oli oikein onnistunut loma Onnin tuvassa. Juuri kauttaaltaan saneerattu mökki sijaitsee rauhallisessa paikassa tien loppupäässä, kaukana melusta ja liikenteestä. Uudessa saunassa oli mahtavat löylyt. Saunan jälkeen oli mukava pulahtaa yksityislampeen.

  Mökki keskellä omaa rauhaa ja kaunista luontoa. Täällä pääsee irti arjen hulinasta ja kiireestä. Talolta asti on ihana näkymä omalle lammelle. Ympäristöä on hoidettu vanhaa kunnioittaen ja talon hirsiseinät ja aikaa henkivä sisustus lämmittivät erityisesti mieltä. Tänne vielä palataan, mahtava paikka!
