Accommodation information
Hietapirtti is a charming small rental cabin in a peaceful location. The cabin is suitable for a couple or a small family for a comfortable vacation. 14 km to the southwest from Pieksämäki, Lake Niskajärvi 2 m (length 6 km, width 1 km), hard, gently sloping sand bottom, a pier, and a rowing boat. Round log cabin built in 1980, renovated in 2022, features a kitchen/living room, and a spreadable bed providing sleeping space for two. Access to the dressing room and wood sauna is through the covered porch. Water comes to the sauna using a hand pump. An open terrace extends from the porch, with a barbecue area. Summer shed. The shed is equipped with electricity, lighting, a heater, and a fan. An outdoor toilet is located next to the shed.

A peaceful rental cabin located in the bay, with a child-friendly beach. Note: The owner charges an on-site deposit equal to the cleaning fee, unless cleaning is booked as an additional service. The owner's family farm and fields are 13 km away. During the summer, peas and strawberries are available for sale on the farm. Lake Niskajärvi is a fish-rich lake, and there are good berry and mushroom-picking grounds nearby. You can rent canoes from the owner. Naarajärvi small airfield 15 km, the canoe route "Savon Amatson" 16 km, fishing spot "Nykälän Koski" 18 km, Pieksämäki; Dollhouse Museum Tarinamäki 18 km, and in Mikkeli, attractions like Visulahti and Kenkävero 80 km. Hietapirtti can be booked annually from May 15th to September 30th.
