Kukkopirtti is a rental cabin situated on a stunning peninsula plot, suitable for accommodating even a larger group. The bedrooms of the 150-year-old traditional barn have a unique atmosphere of their own. Here, neighbors won't disturb you, and there's ample space for various yard games and activities. 14 km to the southwest from Pieksämäki, Lake Niskajärvi 20 m (length 6 km, width 1 km), hard, gently deepening sand bottom, and a rowing boat. Board cladded log cabin built in 1966, expanded and renovated in 2022. In the living area, there is a sofa bed, providing an alternative sleeping option for two. The cabin includes a kitchen, utility room, a WC, and an entrance hall. Separate sleeping shed with a double bed and a crib in one room on the ground floor. In another room, there are two beds and access to an upper floor bedroom with two beds. The second upper floor bedroom has two beds and external access. The shed is equipped with electricity, lights, and a heating radiator. Originally built in 1873, it has been renovated over the years, most recently in 2022. At the lakeside sauna, there is a dressing room, a wood-burning sauna stove, and a bedroom at the other end with two beds, electricity, lights, and a heating radiator. The indoor WC is in the log cabin, with an additional outdoor toilet in the yard. A barbecue area is available in the yard.

The rental cabin, located on the peninsula's tip, boasts a child-friendly beach and a tranquil setting. The owner's family farm and fields are located 13 km away. Lake Niskajärvi is abundant with fish, and there are excellent areas nearby for berry and mushroom picking. Naarajärvi small airfield 15 km, "Savon Amatson" canoe route 16 km away, fishing spot "Nykälän Koski" 18 km, Pieksämäki with the Tarinamäki Dollhouse 18 km. Mikkeli (attractions like Visulahti amusement park and Kenkävero vicarage) 80 km. The cabin is available for booking from June 1st to September 30th.
