20 km northwest of Varkaus, lake Suontjärvi 25 m (width 0.4 km, length 3.5 km), sandy, shallow children's beach and deeper sand-mud bottom next to the pier, own boat. Log cabin, built in 1991, fully renovated 2016, combined kitchen-livingroom, bedroom (10,5 m²) with double bed, shower/toilet, porch. Upstairs sleeping alcove with 2 beds and shallow "children's room" (room height max. 160 cm) with floor area of 25 m², two beds and a baby cot. Separate lakeshore sauna 1989, 15 m², wood-burning stove and hot water cauldron, dressing room / sauna room stove heating, open porch. In dressing room there is a wooden sofa which can be used as an alternative extra bed. Yard building where children can play. Roofed barbecue, separate solid brick-built barbecue. Boathouse. Woodshed. Outdoor toilet / storage room.

Renovated cottage with atmospheric and cozy interior. Fireplace brings warmth during windy winter nights. Hillside yard. There is a 1 km-long nature trail which can be reached from the corner of the lakeside sauna. Mukkula farm (www.mukkulanmaatila.com), Sadun talli (riding stables) 10 km (www.vur.fi). Canoe for rent. Toista kertaa ihanassa mökissä , takuuvarma paikka. Rauhallista , tosin vähän koleat ilmat joten kalaa tuli niukemmin.Tullaan varmaan taas loppukesällä

Erittäin siisti mökki rauhallisella paikalla , erämaajärven tuntua. Saunassa hyvät löylyt ja uimaan pääsi laiturin päästä. Järvi kalaisa , isoja ahvenia ja haukia uistelemalla. Lähistöllä Kivikuru missä kannattaa käydä samoin Jäppilän taajama missä hyvä Sale-kauppa. Oltiin erittäin tyytyväisiä ja tullaan varmaan uudelleen.

Paikkana aivan ihana. Lapsille mukava hiekkaranta. Kalaisa ja puhdas järvi. Riittävästi varusteltu mökki. Hyvin tilaa, mökin pohjaratkaisu avara. Erittäin ystävällinen mökin isäntäpariskunta.
