33 km north-west of Rovaniemi, L.Sonkajärvi 100 m (length 3 km, width 1 km), shallow, hard sand bottom, own boat. Village road between cottage and shore. Wooden cottage, built 2009, living room/kitchen, bedroom with double bed, upstairs bedroom with two beds (120 cm wide), sleeping loft with convertible sofa and 2 mattresses. Balcony. Sauna (electric stove), washroom, toilet, glazed terrace. In summer use separate lakeshore sauna 80 m. Steam room (wood-burning stove) and dressing room. Electric light. Lakeshore sauna and roofed grill (glazed) is partly shared with owner.

We loved our stay at Pyrykieppi! The house is beautiful and the surrounding area was impressive. The kitchen hast everything you need to cook! We booked the towels and bed linen and everything was operated to us. I would recommend to give more instructions about the lights and other important things in the house....See more
