110 km north of Rovaniemi, cottage located high up Yli-Luosto slope in peaceful cottage environment. Cottage with living room/kitchen, bedroom (folding door) double bed, sleeping loft with 2 sleeping alcoves separated with curtains (other with 150 cm bed, other with 120 cm and 80 cm wide beds), In the windows have Window mosquito net. sauna (electric stove), washroom, balcony, open porch. Underfloor heating in the vestibule and bathroom.

Cosy cottage in middle of old forest. Beautiful wide landscape. Car shelter and warm ski maintence room with ski maintenance rack available. There is 3 km long skiing track about 100 m from the cabin (depending on the snow conditions). Official maintained ski trails 4 km. Connecting ski track to Pyhä Luosto´s public ski track network 200 m from the cottage, starting at week 7 every year. Luosto's main slopes 8 km, as also Luosto's hotels, restaurants and programme packages. Amethyst mine 15 km. Pyhä-Luosto National Park approx. 200 m; cottage forms an excellent base for hiking and day trips. Sodankylä and Pyhätunturi 35 km.

We really enjoyed our stay in Kirsti’s house. It was very well equipped. Warm, and cosy. With large windows to look out at the winter wonderland. Our favourite memories from our trip were sledging down the hill followed by a sauna.
