This loft styled log cabin built in 1953 is a former loggers’ cabin is located on a beautiful spot on the shore of lake Aurejärvi. Cabin is suitable for families with children. Downstairs there is a living room with 2 bunk beds and a kitchen, upstairs are two bedrooms each with 2 beds. Fireplace downstairs, wall heating upstairs, wood stove with oven in kitchen, water well, cellar under the kitchen floor. Lakeshore sauna, jetty, site for an open fire in the yard, rowing boat and 4 life jackets. Note: The cottage is only rented until the end of 2024.

WILDERNESS CABIN: Facilities in wilderness cabins are often more modest than in holiday cottages. Cabin is not preheated before customer’s arrival. Cabin should be cleaned by the customer during the holiday and after that. Due to long distances maintenance doesn’t check the cabin after all customers. If the cabin is not cleaned or there are deficiencies, please contact the caretaker immediately on arrival by calling. Please, remember to bring your own bed linen and towels (can not be rented). This cabin requires outdoor attitude and skills (how to make fire, for example). If you’re not sure, please consider another option. Water is not examined yearly so boiling the drinking water before use is recommended. Swimming – and fishing possibilities in lake Aurejärvi. Please notice that lake Aurejärvi is very rocky. Maximum 4 hp outboard motor is allowed. Berry– and mushroom picking terrain in the surrounding areas. Distances: Seitseminen National Park 24 km, Helvetinjärvi National Park 38 km, Kihniö 20 km, Tampere (railway station) 90 km, Parkano (railway station) 30 km, Teerilampi fishing area 38 km, The Aitoneva Peat Museum 20 km.
